What steps can we as musicians and artists take to end victim blaming and promote healing in our communities when sexual assault is often condoned? Transforming the concept of traditional performance through the combination of recorded music, dance, and statements from real victims-survivors, Flutist Heidi Álvarez, Recording Artist Jeff Smith, and Video Creative Director Kara Williams Glenn present a multidisciplinary performance of Charles De Laney’s Hymn of Pan that promotes awareness about and supports the victims-survivors of sexual assault.
