Fall 2019 Course Evaluation

Sample of comments from course evaluations:

  • Kara Glenn is one of my favorite instructors I have had to date. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but she is great at explaining material and giving constructive critiques. I have grown so much as a designer in this course, and that is entirely due to Kara. I hope to take another class with her in the future.

  • Kara is both an excellent leader and professor. The assignments she picks are perfect for learning career skills and also make for outstanding portfolio pieces, showing that she thinks beyond just classroom and considers the students' needs in developing their careers. She is irreplaceable in the classroom because she provides clear but very helpful feedback without making students feel they are in any way judged for mistakes or works-in-progress. As for difficulty, she strikes a good balance between helping students through difficult tasks and encouraging them to think independently to solve problems on their own. Overall, this is one of the best classes I have taken at WKU. Kara does everything right to help us make the most that we can out of this course.

  • Kara is amazing
